Our live performance focuses on Graham’s troubled marriage, with the title referring to the night Phil Graham takes his own life with a hunting rifle in the couple’s bathroom. Three days later, Katherine gathered her inner strength from all she had gone through to face a Board of Directors, all men, and acquiesce to what was the prevailing thought that the Washington Post would no longer be in her family. But she knew she had the strength to take over and emerge as a leader, becoming the publisher and CEO of the Post.
