Join us on Sunday, March 22nd at 4:30 pm for A Conversation with Jane Greenwood. Ms Greenwood is a Costume Designer for stage, television, film, opera and dance working in both England and the United States. A 21 time Tony nominee for her work, she won in 2017 for The Little Foxes. She also received a Lifetime Achievement Tony Award in 2014 and was a Professor of Design at the Yale School of Drama from 1976 to 2019.
Ms. Greenwood is the most prolific designer of any kind - costumes, lighting or sets - on Broadway. She has dressed actors from Katherine Hepburn, Richard Burton and Jason Robards to Scarlett Johansson and Ben Stiller. Her most recent work will be seen in Plaza Suite on Broadway, starring Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker.
You will hear how Ms. Greenwood became a Costume Designer, about actors she has worked with, and her philosophy regarding design and the detective work required.
