In celebration of Women's History Month, Chicago's E. Faye Butler will honor the songs made famous by female icons of the twentieth century, including Etta James, Dinah Washington, Mahalia Jackson, Billie Holiday, Lena Horne, Nina Simone, and Ella Fitzgerald.
For one-night-only, cabaret sensation E. Faye, together with Ron Haynes performing the songs of Louis Armstrong, will pay tribute to these remarkable women in history.

An intimate evening in the Lunts' stunning, mural-filled Drawing Room at Ten Chimneys. This private room was the main setting for the Lunts to entertain their guests, where the likes of Katharine Hepburn, Laurence Olivier, and Helen Hayes were entertained by guests playing the Noël Coward piano.

Just as the Lunts collaborated with playwrights, actors, and directors in developing new work, Ten Chimneys Foundation continues the tradition as we welcome Art Manke, playwright, and director, and the cast for a play reading at Ten Chimneys. Pearl's in the House is a musical play workshopped at Ten Chimneys and features actors Kim Staunton and Malkia Stampley.

The state of Wisconsin officially recognizes May 26th of every year as Ten Chimneys Day, paying tribute to the historic significance of Ten Chimneys and the ongoing impact of Ten Chimneys Foundation. The day celebrates the anniversary of the marriage of Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne (1922), the anniversary of Ten Chimneys' opening to the public as a house museum and national resource for theatre and the arts (2003), and the anniversary of Ten Chimneys' dedication as a National Historic Landmark (2004).

Alfred Molina and the 2017 Lunt-Fontanne Fellows will take the stage for a rare look at the work they explored during their week at Ten Chimneys, as well as a one-night-only program highlighting the remarkable ten actors chosen as 2017 Lunt-Fontanne Fellows.
